How does the Longevity Pillow prevent wrinkles?
For side sleepers, the pillow's unique and patented hollow heart-shaped design supports the bony structure of the head while the soft tissue and skin of the face rest freely, untouched by the pillow, over the pillow's hollow center. How does the ergonomic design offer support and alignment for side and back sleepers?
Back sleepers: Back sleeping requires a neutral head and neck alignment. The goal is to support the natural curve of the cervical spine without lifting the head too high (causes neck strain) or letting it fall too low (causes misalignment). The ideal pillow height for a back sleeper is 3.5 to 4.5 inches (9-11 cm). The Longevity Pillow's height falls perfectly within this range. The center cut-out with surrounding support helps cradle the head while maintaining ideal neck alignment.
Side sleepers: The ideal pillow height for a side sleeper is 3.5 to 5.5 inches (9-14 cm). When the pillow is made of medium-soft memory foam, as the Longevity Pillow is, the ideal height is 4.5-5 inches. How hard or soft is the Longevity Pillow memory foam?

What is the pillowcase made of?

Is the pillowcase removable?
This premium quality pillow boasts 2 layers of fabric covering the foam. The first
layer is a thin, non-removable fabric that protects the foam from wear and tear. The outer pillowcase is removable (unzips). The zipper starts and ends at the center top of the heart. Please refer to the online video for further instructions and a demonstration of how to remove and replace the pillowcase and underlying middle layer.
Is the pillow or pillowcase washable?
Machine wash cold in a laundry bag, using a silk-friendly detergent. Do not bleach, and do not soak or wash at high temperatures. Remove promptly after washing and lay flat to dry, out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry. If needed, iron on low (below 120°C). Do not dry clean.
What if my pillowcase accidentally ends up in the dryer?
Don't worry. While there is some potential for slight shrinkage in the dryer, we deliberately had the fabric pre-shrunk before it was sewn, and the pillowcase is made 1% bigger than the pillow itself to make it easier to take on and off. So an accidental trip through the dryer shouldn't cause any issue.
